we stayed at a lovely hotel just 2min from the beach, what we liked it was never overcrowded or mobbed, which we don't like, on the minus side please wear soft shoes or sandals as the pebbles can be painful to walk on and when your swimming. Surrounding the beach area were small tavernas serving a good selection of fish dishes. 10 min from the hotel took you to the village of gennadi, a real greek village with shops which are open all year round, and we were amazed at the local prices, compared to some your huge tourist resorts, definately go back again as we like quiet resorts.
